A small chapel was built in the vicnity of the present parish church in 1817. The construction of the church started 20 years later - in 1938. World War II interrupted the works but they were resumed in 1944 thanks to pr. Józef Balon's initiative. The church was consecrated in 1953. The building is decorated with a polychromy and there is a copy of the painting of Our Lady of Częstochowa in the altar.
