Vote of thanksgiving for the papacy of John Paul II from the inhabitants of Skawica. It was designed by Kazimierz Pająk. It was Skawica where Cardinal Karol Wojtyła started his last mountain walk on the 9th of September 1978 before he became the pope. His companions were priest Tadeusz Styczeń and priest Stanisław Dziwisz. On 27th of 2007 Cardinal Dziwisz consecrated the monument.
