The church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in the Upper Zawoja. In 1984 the foundation stone of the church was built in and the parish was set up in 1988. The congregation of the parish almost entirely provided funds for the construction. In 1986 John Paul II gave to the still under construction church a personally signed painting, in which there was Our Lady of Perpetual Help. It was coronated on the 23rd of June 1867.
