The old chapel was designed in the XXth century by an engineer Stefan Ficek from Zawoja. It was built in 1936. The bell is situated in the highest part of the tower. There is a sculpture of Mother of God with Jesus inside and over the entrance there is a sculptural crucifix. It's the most imprtant historical building in Zawoja Wełcza under the ivocation of Saint Andrew Bobola.
